About This Lesson

In this workshop, we’ll explore how AI chatbots can cut down on repetitive tasks like answering the same questions over and over or offering after-hours homework help. Teachers will learn about easy-to-use chatbot-building tools and practice setting up basic conversation flows tailored to their classes. By building and testing a mini-chatbot, we’ll see how these virtual assistants can keep students engaged and give them quick feedback. Before we wrap up, each person will identify one way they can try out a chatbot in their class in the near future.

Presenters: Sam Canning-Kaplan (OpenAI), Shannon Knapp (North Syracuse)), Carrie Cofer (Cleveland)
